 Dr. Debbie Clark was born in California and moved to western Washington when she was 7 years old.  Except for a brief stint in Michigan while her husband pursued an educational opportunity, she has lived here ever since.  Dr. Clark lives in Snohomish with her husband, Jason and her two boys, Ethan and Hayden.  They have two cats, Bogie and Boxer, and a dog, Scout.

Dr. Clark started her education studying engineering at Western Washington University.  In her senior year, she decided that engineering was not for her and she transferred to Washington State to study pre-Vet.  Dr. Newnham and Dr. Clark met as classmates of the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine class of 1997.  They became friends and kept in touch over the years.  When they got together socially, talk would naturally turn to veterinary medicine.  They realized that even though they were practicing miles apart, they had developed very similar philosophies to quality patient care, the importance of owner education and the business of veterinary medicine.  Eventually the idea of working together took root and over the last several years they began actively exploring how to make that happen. 

We are all very excited that circumstances have finally allowed Dr. Clark to join us in caring for your companions.

Drs Newnham, Pinto and Clark are thrilled to have the opportunity to work together to help you provide the best possible care for your pets throughout every stage of their lives.  It is important to us to always have a doctor available who is familiar with the needs of you and your furry family members.  The addition of Dr. Clark will allow us to have two doctors on site on a regular basis every weekday.

Dr. Clark is excited to work with an old friend in a technologically advanced practice that is focused on excellent, compassionate patient care and client communication.  She looks forward to joining the staff at CAWC, working with our wonderful clients and making new friends in the surrounding community.
